For the unbeliever, the fear of God is to fear the judgment of God and eternal death, which is eternal separation from God. For the believer, the fear of God is something much different. The believer's fear is reverence of God. Hebrews 12:28-29, "Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire." This reverence and awe is exactly what the fear of God means for Christians. Fearing God means having such a reverence for Him, that it has a great impact on the way we live our lives.

Is it attainable you're taking a metaphor from the previous testomony and taking it as heritage? Or an occasion ot what somebody could do or not do? The 'kill the lads' God ordered killed are ones that have been the right age to have harmed others already and did. not harmless little boys. in case you went lower back in basic terms 50 years, so lots extra people have been sentenced to death. while the death sentence went on a extreme drop, server crimes extra desirable. in case you circulate lower back to while the Pilgrims first got here to u.s. punishment for minor crimes/sins strengthen into locking the guy in a physique that held their palms and ft on one area and something of the physique on the different area.... in the previous testomony There are punishments for crimes to maintain people in line. while Jesus got here Forgiveness is authorized IF the guy will on no account dedicate it lower back. the recent testomony dose say to strongly punish all in crime that don't desire to offer up or are too sever. Are you protecting all the Bible or in basic terms areas?

I don't think the word "fear" here means to actually be afraid of but means having a reverence and a deep respect for his authority. God does control whether a person goes to hell or not but he can always save a person even if they are in hell already. He doesn't want us to be afraid of him because we could not possibly love him the way we should if we are scared of him.

Religion originally was about fear and punishment to keep a less educated and civilized man on the straight and narrow.
Now they are making God a more kind grandfatherly type of person.

Only those who believe in God will go to hell. God ignores all the non-believers.

I know somebody who should have feared god. The people of Sodom and Gonomorrow, and their children. When god rained down holy molten material on both towns.
And Lot and his wife Elaine, and their two little girls Junie and Sciporra; and when they were running for their lives Elaine heared the screams of children and she turned and looked, and god changed her into a hunk of salt.
And they were in such a hurry they couldn't bring it with them.

Read your Bible.....it is all there. Nothing what you try to state here makes any sense.
Anyone who disobey God will go to hell.
People who obey God will inherit eternal life.
As simple as that.

Fear in this context means reverence or awe, not be scared of.
