Unfortunately some churches are boring, but I believe if you go expecting to get a blessing, you will. The church I go to does not have very good singing, but I still go for everything else and I get blessed by it. Think of it as digging for gold, sometimes it may be right on top of the ground and there to pick up, and other times you have to dig and work for it. Have a Great Easter!!

We used to go to church to talk about the problems in the community and create solutions for them. I wish we still did that! I would be sure to be there every week!!! But when I have to go and listen to stuff that I can read - It does get very boring!

Why don't you make friends with a man i know, his name is JESUS! But for real, i used to go to church, only i found the singing boring and the preaching interesting and basically the sermon was how to deal with situations/problems in life in a logical, straight forward way. I thought it was quite useful! You could always take a gameboy or whatever you kids play these days! lol.

It sounds to me like you are not being stimulated by the Holy Spirit. When you are in church, let the Holy Spirit fill you, and you will be on fire for Jesus. Maybe your Pastor isn't stimulating you enough, you should find a church where your Pastor does stimulate you.

wow
you people are idiots, yes church is VERY boring, because the people teaching you dont truly understand it themselves. they are like everybody that says church is not boring, they only act like they believe, while they truly do not understand....the important thing, is that doesnt matter, the point is you just need to find somebody that sees god the way you do, because everybody can see god, they only have diferent images. its the word thats important, not the name. its the faith, not the religion.

Find a romance within your church. Sit in church with the one you love and hold hands, and think about each other. The time will go much more quickly.
In the alternative, stay home and "do what other people do on Sunday morning."

You may want to check out a local branch of the International House of Prayer. They do not replace your church, they are a movement of a new kind of spirit-led prayer. If you get involved there it may open the eyes of your understanding to much more of God and put more joy in your worship and church attendance.

No, it's not supposed to be boring. Remember that on Sunday morning you are not there to be entertained, but to be a participant in worshipping God. He is the One who should be "entertained", not you.
Perhaps you are simply uninterested in the subject matter. I know sometimes my pastor goes on and on and on about something I have no personal interest in, but I listen. One day it might mean something to me and I'll be glad I listened.
Besides ... who told you life was supposed to fun and exciting all the time? lol

Get one of those churches that handles snakes and does the speaking in tongues. That will keep you from being bored.
Or you can just stay home like I do.

You forgot to mention that church is full of idiots.
And they believe in a weird creepy Bible god. Oh and by the way, do you folks still believe he turned the Nile River into blood, yeah and what then...
