Of course, a Meth addict...not only is it a criminal act, but it can cause the person to have permenant schziophrenia, and cause terrible concequence...an alcoholic is also terrible, and can have horrible health problems also, and both destroy a family...but the meth addict is really horrible, and can put many people in the family at risk of being arrested, etc.

I would personally say an alcoholic because it is more socially accepted and so people are more likely to condone it. Plus it is much more readily available and so is a lot easier to obtain. Although with this statement i do not take any emphasis off the issues with being addicted to meths.

Alcoholics rarely break into peoples homes, to get things to sell to support their habit, but I would rather take my chances with a Meth addict on the roads!

In my opinion, definitely a Meth addict. Meth has this great way of turning previously normal, civil, functional and moral people into nasty, vindictive, manipulative, violent, psychotic, immoral, dysfunctional, and downright vile parasites.
How do I know? I am a recovering Meth addict, among other drugs incl alcohol.

Both tear your body and mind into pieces, but meth does it faster than alcohol, so i suppose that meth is worse.

being a meth addict i ca tell you that its worse to be an alcoholic... its legal to have/possess alcohol..
in truth its like government sponsorship of an addiction..
the state wont legalize drugs because they cannot control it,,,thereby not making a profit from the sale or use of it..
at least we can go to jail and clean up
you cant walk into your local market and buy dope... but booze......?

I think alcohol is worse.

It causes the same damage to people's mental health, families, finances, physical health etc but it does so in a more insidious way.

Less dramatic, more socially acceptable, usually not noticed till much later and therefore harder to treat.
