I do not have a denomination or a congregation to belong to. I am not opposed to it, but as a Christian, I wonder why others feel as I do?
Why do you feel that you don't have a congregation?
What advantages do you feel, being a Christian in a relationship with Christ, offer that organized religion doesn't have?
If you found a church, that seems to teach many truths from the Bible, would you actually join, or would you just attend?

I am a non-denominational christian, I have no certain church, (I do teach at a Baptist only for my grandkids as they have no other teachings so far) but the reason for me is becasue I haven't found one as yet to feel I am being taught right from the Bible..As for joinning one if I did find one am not sure if I would, unless of course God has led me there to do so..I have a close relationship with Christ, and it wasn't from going to church that I got it, it was from the fact I realized I needed Him more than any church or anything this world could offer me..He leads me to where ever He needs me and I do the best to follow, I feel Him close to me always and I know He will never leave me or forsake me..Blessings to all..Happy Easter too...

Joining a church is making a commitment to basically give back as well as receive. I think it's important to join the church you attend after a time.

Many of us do. That is why I am still part of the original Church. I wish all of the Protestants felt as you and would come back and join us like how it was before 1517 when Luther the Schismatic split our faith and divided the people. Peace be with you

well I don't have a church I belong to either or at least i don't go and I feel that one day the LORD will ask me why I didn't fellowship.. and I want have an answer for him but he knows that I pray to him everyday and I like it that way.....
