Many differing opinions, many different churches, many interpretations of any particular topic from the Bible....so, as a Christian, what do you do when your congregation teaches something that you've researched, and you find it to br falsley interpretted?
Do you approach your leader and discuss it?
Does your leader have an open mind to study this topic with you?
What if your leader won't study this with you?
I'm interested in knowing...as I have some friends who have had this situation occur. (and years ago, I was in a similar situation, and the leadership of the church, was firm on it's interpretation; which resulted in my leaving..)

I understand ! Been kicked out of a few churches myself, BUT, is is good to correct doctrines with revelations from God if you can. A meek and lowly spirit is needful in that . Prayer and a good presentation is also helpful.
Wish you well.....PEACE

hi there

I believe that the most important and ultimate authority to a Christian must be God. I have come out of the churches altogether, as I believe the Bible is telling us to do so today.

In the Bible, we see several verses about ten horns, some think the ten horns are the UN, or various nations, I have found evidence in the Bible, comparing spiritual with spiritual that the ten horns are today's church pastors and theologians.

There is a great deal more to say on this subject, but for now I'd like to ask you, what is Babylon the Great, the mysterious thing in Revelation and Jeremiah 51? What is fallen and God is calling HIs people to come out of today?

Re 17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

Re 17:7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

Thanks for reading,
John

"Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name . . . and will deceive many" (Matthew 24:4-5).

St. Paul begs the early Christians to be unified in mind and in what they say. There can only be one "true" Christian Church. How can the Holy Spirit guide the Catholic Church, the Lutheran Church, the Presbyterian Church, the Baptist Church, etc. if all of those denominations have doctrines and beliefs differing from each other? There is only one interpretation of the Bible. Otherwise, people can and have "read" literally anything into It.

The papacy is the oldest Intuition in the world .- How could it survived without the grace of God & the guidance of the Holy Spirit.........The Holy Spirit did not convert to Islam in 610AD or Lutheranism in 1517AD or Calvinism in 1540s AD ...There's no comparison ..................The truth is , they Catholics give us the first Bible..the rest of religions intrepid it differently & formed counterfeit religion's groups...which inturn give us supermarket christens;.......pick & choose laws to suit themselves [ cool & new age stuff ] but has nothing to do with the scriptures....

Once you have studied the topic thoroughly pray to God on your next move and let the Holy Spirit guide you. The word says if you have a problem take it to that person and if they do not here you take it before a couple more people and if that person still does not recognize the problem take it before the congregation.

That's why we were told to Prove "all doctrine" by the WORD.
If some churches doctrine doesn't line up, its garbage.

1Th 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

How does one "rightly divide" the word? By taking it back to original language with a Strong's concordance to see what was really written.

To divide means to dissect.

divide 3718 orqotomew orthotomeo or-thot-om-eh'-o
from a compound of orqoV - orthos 3717 and the base of tomwteroV - tomoteros 5114, to make a straight cut, i.e. (figuratively) to dissect (expound) correctly (the divine message):--rightly divide.

If you find a church that will not answer questions, its a cult.

A good teaching ministry will teach ch by ch an vs by vs, so you get meat. Not just simply salvatation message which is milk.

The only way any church will work is less mans ideas and more of God.If a church would just praise Jesus and then let the Holy Spirit talk through people in truth then that is the true way to obey God.And get rid of this the church needs money craziness

Yes, I often disagree with the churches' doctrines.
"For those who stubbornly seek freedom, there can be no more urgent task than to come to understand the mechanisms and practices of indoctrination. These are easy to perceive in the totalitarian societies, much less so in the system of 'brainwashing under freedom' to which we are subjected and which all too often we serve as willing or unwitting instruments."

Considering that the Bible encourages slavery, the stoning of your own children, rampaging and killing everyone including livestock in neighboring cities where someone might not have the same delusions etc.... I sure do hope many people that still insist to be religious disagree with many of those doctrines....

I've had a similar experience. Our assistant pastor was teaching a Bible study, and I questioned one of his conclusions.
We met together with the senior pastor and looked into the matter together.
They concluded that I had a valid point, but were't going to change their position.
It improved our relationship even though we never agreed.

Friend, When I first got saved, I was in a little church, For 4 years, I saw all kinds of teachings, & I confronted my pastor, & he would run me down & try to say I was trying to over rule him, So I left that church in 1974, & started at another one, & I have been at the other church now for 33 yrs. & not One time can I honestly say, that My pastor has preached anything contrary to God's word. & I think in 33 yrs. I would know what is truth.
