It is possible that you have some wisdom teeth coming in - and the pain and process of those teeth coming in can affect your whole body. See a dentist first -they can xray and see it that's the case. If not, then check out your physician.

There are many things that can cause facial swelling. The first thing is to notice where the swelling is... is it just in your lymph-nodes or has it spread to the cheeks... This could be caused by an abscess, insect bite, allergic reaction, a viral infection, even mumps.... check with your doctor immediately

Swollen lymph node? Your body is fighting something. Pain associated with swollen lymph nodes may indicate infection that may require antibiotics.

I had the same thing about a month ago. I have false teeth so I knwe it wasn't a tooth problem. I just let it go and it lasted about a week and a half.If you are worried you should see a doctor. I think mine was a cold effect, although I wasn't sick, Painful though

maybe you have some sort of tonsilitis, that's why your jaw aches and your lymph node is swollen. Better see your physician for further assessment

Go see your dentist first! It may be coming from a bad tooth. If that is not the answer, go see a doctor.
