No, sir I don't, I am an American and love my country but do not and never have believed that George Bush's war of aggression against the Iraqi people was the right thing to do. I do not expect you to agree with him either. I also would not expect you to be grateful for the death and destruction that he has caused the Iraqi people. I think he should have to face charges for his crimes against the Iraqi people and for his crimes against humanity. .

The Irak issue was a serious political blunder...You see, The world has the perception that the American people and Army, started it all, and brought everything to the state of things we can find now....Nope, It was a serious mistake of the Military and political establishment, not the people...
We all know that there were no weapons of mass destruction, but gossip of Mass deception....The big issue here is...who is going to enroll in the Military new recruitment period, if they are at risk of battling for oil, and nobody (other than the fat fishes doing busines to "rebuild" Irak) will thank them for risking or giving their lives in the name of sacred oil? )and even because very many of the young productive people at risk, send to fight to "liberate" Irak, do not have a clear idea of what is they are fighting really for)
It is now a very heated and complex issue....It lead to unleash tribal hatred among the Iraki people, and no one there is thankful or even sympathetic to the american cause....The Army there is stranded in a marsh, because if they leave, all the oil facilities, will be blown away or destroyed by the local guerrillas, whichever faction they represent, and stopping the ducts from working, will lead to failure of a war that have already costed 600,000 deaths on the iraki side and 3,160 on the American one....what was the gain?...oil?...Blood?...a new liberated Irak?...I sincerely think that none of the above.
And the international prestige of the GOOD americans (The vast majority) went to the drain because a few ones started all this mess...Painful ist it?

It'll be alright. A couple of down years and we'll have a conservative isolationist to run the country again. Maybe one that will cut funding to the world. No longer should we pay the 22% of the UN Budget, as the organization is only a forum for the hatred of America. Cut off all the US aid to the world. People would starve and AIDS would spread, and we could just leave it to the rest of the world like it has been left on us to deal with. America could once again focus on becoming an economically independent nation.

The answers you get on this forum are not representative of US opinion; there are an unusual number of Bush supporters here. In addition, like most people, Americans love their country and they will defend it verbally, even if they privately acknowledge that US foreign policy has caused great harm in the world.

The majority of Americans, 60-70%, realize that the US has all but destroyed the country of Iraq, and that thousands have died for nothing. Most Americans know that once US troops deposed the Taliban, they were inexplicably withdrawn, which has allowed the Taliban to retake most of Afghanistan. And all Americans know that that the hunt for Bin Laden was discontinued years ago, for no good reason at all.

The Middle East was a mess long before America went there...

When you are dealing with people that the only thing that they understand is a gun in their face. It makes you wonder if they will ever be civilized enough to join the real world.
Tell us oh wise one. How would like us to handle them. I bet you want us to give them a bombs, so they can blow each other up. On second thought not a bad idea. It would save us a lot of time and money.

Your question is so typical of the Liberal thought process.

We handed two backwards countries the incomparable gift of democracy on a silver platter. We freed Afghanistan from the choking grip of the ignorant Taliban, and freed the Iraqis from the Butcher of Baghdad.

How about putting the blame squarely where it belongs? That of course would be on the Afghans and Iraqis themselves. We have given them every tool they need to thrive as democracies, but they have yet to show the resolute determination to stomp out the insurgencies.

,America has always tried and I do mean tried to do the right thing. I never hear anyone complain about our aid, our doctors without borders or any of the other humanitarian thing we do around the world . but sometimes yes we bungle. But I would much rather fight them there than here. and we will fight somewhere because thats all they or we know how to do. Its a basic human drive.

People like you will ALWAYS find a way to blame the US for everything wrong with the world.

And if we don't cause the problem, somehow, we're not doing enough to help.

The US should honestly think about doing away all foreign aid money and bring our troops home...along with all the food, medicines, technologies, etc. I'm sure the people who get their jollies bashing those 'evil' Americans would step right up and make the world the Utopia it could be without the US.

A lot of people say that, but if the Foreign Aid was to get cut they would be begging us back..the fact that because of the USA countless lives have been saved as well, think what you want.
