because he has given us free will and we have caused this evil and the bad things therefore we should stop it as we are the only ones accountable, starvation and famine is because of us, god is not to blame

This is really a good question and a question asked by people all over the world. Wouldn't that be fair for all of us to admit?
I have questions also:
Could this be a test of our strength? Consider the facts that some refuse to keep in mind all that are left behind.
When a natural disaster occurs how do we behave? Do we feel sorry for ourselves or do we assist our neighbor via loving as God loves us?
We mourn...but shouldn't we keep in mind there are many that mourn for themselves rather than for the lives lost and the families remaining?
What of those who refuse to help fix what is broken including sharing the pain in the form of comforting others?
Science is sending a message to us that some weather is man-made. Now we know there are none on this earth that have the capabilities to be perfect or give perfect advice. But, could it be possible that man should not see all as bad when yes, Satan works thru people but shouldn't we keep in mind the Holy Spirit works thru people as well?
Should we consider many of those lost are now living in perfect peace because they trusted and believed?
I think God works thru all that ask questions as we are not to stop educating ourselves. Just think where we would be today if all believed in the saying "curiosity killed the cat". Seems to me there are many "cats" out there who would starve if they believe they should refrain from what is natural to do. I conclude that saying was meant for those who have a pattern of seeking out that which God does not approve of and not meant for those who ask questions so that they may find a peaceful solution.

Well, you're assuming God has the power, and that we know what things are bad, and that other far worse things couldn't also happen.
Personally, I believe in God, but son't believe in an omnipotent God.
But that's just me.

Do you propose, then that God make us all wind-up toys? God gives us a choice that we have to make every day: Choose you, this day, who you will serve. Who, or what, you choose to serve determines what you will do with your day. This is the one and only choice man is resposible to make. Did your parents ever get mad at you? If so, do you suggest that they do not exist? Did you ever burn your hand on a stove? Had you been told not to do it by your parents? If so, do your parents not exist because you burned your hand? God gave us a guide book to tell us what to do, gives us the chance to have Him help us do it, but if we don't pay attention, that's OUR fault, not His, and it certainly doesn't mean He doesn't exist just because we didn't listen to Him. You must mature eventaully. The sooner the better.

In summary, the situation of humans is because of the issue that Satan raised. He challenged God's sovereignty over man, God's right and capability to rule over man. God gave Satan a chance to show what he would do for man if he is their ruler. We are still under that rulership...Satan's. As you can see, the world is full of hatred, cruelty and deception, same as its ruler, hateful, cruel and deceptive.
This is Satan's show, he should be the one doing everything for man, if God helps then his lending a hand to Satan and is being part of his lies.
God will in his time, remove all suffering...but this is still Satan's time to prove his capacity, we just have to wait...

Define "bad".
In the bible, I believe that it states that god allows "bad" things to happen as mans' punishment for disobeying him.
Oh and to answer your question, no.

I wouldn't do that because that is God's job, and He is doing it. The Bible is here to explain exactly how God is destroying evil and the Evil One and is setting up His kingdom of righteousness. You should believe in Him so that you can have eternal life without any evil.
