All are wrong answers,If your already thin then your issue is not loosing fat its toning up.If your a woman let me break this myth/styreo type right now...you CANNOT bulk up" unless your on steriods,or taking testosterone...ask your Doc...women always fear they will turn into a man...ie big bulky muscle, then they dont fatigue the muscle.I dont know how old you are but if your over 30,arms are usually harder for most woman to tone,(the back of the arm)...not because it wont tone...because they wont train tthe muscles properly,I can tell you 3 or 4 exersises/lifts you can do but it would take up lots o writting.I am 43,compited in natral body compitetions in my 20s early 30s..(not the body building)...let me say also those women you see ARE on steroids, and testosterone!!!..I now train a few gals out of my home...I said all this to say...Ive been doing this along time and I am going to recommend the very best book and I think ALL woman should read...its called..The Body Sculpting Bible for women....,by James Villepogue,& Hugo Rivera...one of my gals just bought a copy for $3.bucks on E-bay,but they usually have a copy at the library or you can get one at Amazon.com or any book store, this is the absoulute BEST!!! and will show you step by step and target, and answer all your questions,Ive seen a lot this is the best even adresses diet, vitamins, your period etc..all for girls.!!!..good luck summers coming, this is when I tone up my arms too,(sleevless tops)lol...and check the book out,I promise it will tone up those arms, without extreme weight lifting, but just enough for you personally....ps this guy up above me is right only if you have overal body fat,you say your thin,I am assuming your overal body fat is low,and this is about toning up not loosing fat...

I would lose the fat first and worry about having too much muscle later. if your arms are thin and fat there isn't much muscle there to begin with. there are no special exercises for women. to lose fat in the upper arm you have to decrease body fat until you see the desired results in your problem areas. you can't spot reduce fat via exercise or the diet. genetics determines from what location fat will be metabolized from first and last

No no no... muscle is your friend. If you are not interested in weight lifting (which will not bulk you up BTW) you can try power yoga or Pilates. It doesn't sound like you have too much fat on your arms, just little definition is necessary.

You carnt -- There is no way to reduce fat in one place. Do you not watch tv ;-)

You have to do arobics, but there is no way to target a single place.
