If you can't see a guy would you still...?

I can't see him but I like him very much so I send him a care box every month...he is in the army (we are both in Asia..he not an American) I like to send him things to make him happy...I already sent him 1 game and a Sony PSP plus snacks and tolietries..am I wrong most of my friends told me not to do this..any other things I can send him? We are friends..but in a confusion...

you are doing the right thing, don't listen to your friends. He's away from home and misses his friends and family. You are a good friend to be thinking of him, keep it up. He won't be in the army for ever perhaps he will be coming home to see you someday soon and he will show you how much he appreciated your kindness.

Sending him things is a nice gesture and I say ok if he's sending you stuff too but don't do it to get him to like you- if it's in that context, he should be sending to you, not the other way around. Been there and you end up giving and giving and you never get anything. Especially don't send such expensive things, you'll regret it if you guys don't end up together. If he's interested in you he'll pursue you, let him do the pursuing or they feel it's not a challenge and lose interest. But I wouldn't keep my hopes up too long, if he hasn't shown interest chances are he never will.

Can I be your friend? You need to not do this as your gifts are extravegent. Snacks and toiletries are probably available there for him and although kind of you, you are going out of the way. You son't mention if he even acknowledges you. Don't buy him anything and allow him to think of you.

you sent him a sony psp? sin't that expensive, i think he is just trying to take your money girl... i understand if you sent letters, candy a t-shirt but a psp and games???????? you must be crazy!
