First of all, I'm sorry to hear about your possibility of having lung cancer. I truly hope and pray that this is a mistake!
Finding an insurance company that will cover you if you already have lung cancer may be very difficult to do (since most don't cover pre-existing conditions). You might want to consider an affordable alternative called AmeriPlan. AmeriPlan sells discount medical plans, including medical, dental, vision, prescription, and chiropractic plans (and it covers hospitalizations and emergency room visits). You pay a low monthly fee ($49.95 for all plans for you per month) and then receive up to 50% off of medical costs. In the case of hospitalization, your bill will be negotiated with AmeriPlan, so you may actually save more than 50% on costs.
This is just something to consider. AmeriPlan covers ongoing conditions and there are no limits on age, number of visits, etc. Best of all, there's no hassle with the paperwork, and the savings start immediately (even if you haven't yet received your card in the mail).
Check out the link below. I really, really believe AmeriPlan is a great alternative for insurance, especially for people with ongoing conditions.
I hope things look up for you...stay strong and keep your hopes up!

No matter what any one else thinks there are 2 levels of people in the US. Those who are lucky to have decent health insurance and then the rest of us that don't. Yes, hospitals can turn you away. They are obligated to treat you in the ER but then they have no further obligation. They may admit you for a few days but this in only to get your symtonys under control.
The hematologist/oncologist is under no obligation to treat you. They want thier money.
My sister has cancer and fortunately for her they have alot of money. In order to keep her getting the help she needs they have had to sell some real estate and go into their retirement funds as wll as his famiys trust fund. He is 60 years old and had intended to retire this year but that is not possile since they need his insurance for my sister.
Since they have the mony they can continue to get her covered. Their out of pocket expenses for 2006 were about 45,000. They have sold my sisters car and brough a beater and rght now their house in for sale so they can use the money for cotunied care for my sister.
I was justified diagnosed with a serious illness and if I don't keep working I lose my insurance. Then unfortunately my life expectancy is severly compromised. I am single and have almost nothing put away.
So much for Amercias health insrance, if you don;t have them money you can only get patched uo in the Er. I also have to have eye surgery since I am losing the vision inn my Left eye. But the Dr. on my health plan wants the money up front and then he wil lreimburse me what the insurance pays.
We are the richest country in the world but we are still based on classl If you have they money you lie, if you don't you die.

See if you you qualify (agewise/sexwise/type of cancer...) for any of these lung cancer trials. There is typically no cost involved (except maybe travel), and in all trials, they already know that the drug/treatment works, they are just trying to prove it to the standards required by the FDA.
Get treatment! So long as it has not spread to other parts of
your body, chances are great you can be fixed. Get fixed, and worry about paying for it later!
Good luck..

Sounds like "someone" down below has a chip on America to carry. You can get the best health care in the world in America and the most up to date by the way.
If you walk into any hospital and you have a disease they will help you in one way or the other. If they can't help you they will give you a referral for you to get the help required. I have never seen anyone turned down at any hospital in the United States. You will get the best of care.

Depends what part of the world you are.
Who told you you have lung cancer ? Can't the same person tell you where to go to get it treated ?
If you smoke......stop smoking.....or you are still using the poison , that caused the problem.
In the uk we are lucky enough to have the NHS......so our treatment is paid for by taxes and National Insurance schemes (ie Free)
It's time other countries caught on to this idea !
Good luck in your search........I hope it's a misdiagnosis......if not......enjoy your life....have fun.......and make your peace with yourself , your friends , your family and your God.
Sorry about your news ! Good luck in your search for a cure !

Go to http://www.earthclinic.com/CURES/cancer.html if you dont have Health Insurance.
The health care in America is a joke, every other civilized country its very low cost. The American way is pollute the lands we live in then get everyone sick offer them half cures that only relieve symptoms but give side affects. Antibiotics ruining your ability to accept meds down the road. CORN in 70% of the foods we eat. Pushing crap foods in grocery stores that are 65% genetically modified that we cant even push on 3rd world countries, so we eat them.
ok im done rambling, take a look at the Hydrogen Peroxide cures for Cancer I like the nasal inhaler one. Cancers cant live in oxygen rich environments.
Of course anyone that you might pay to help you shave your head and get all ready for a crazy experience try doing some un-propagandized research on Hydrogen Peroxide, try here
