No your body needs more nutrition than that. Your 1200 calories a day should be from sources of healthy foods too, not diet coke and iceberg lettuce. Eat 1500 calories a day and burn off 300. That is healthier.

if ur aim is losing weight..then it'll surely work.

but our body has this tendency..that if at first our body naturally burns (with no extra exercise) 2000 cal a day, and if we reduce our consumption so our body gets to burn only 600 (like its in your case)..our body gets used to burning only 600. so even when u stop exercising ur body would be burning only 600 and u would be consuming 1200. so ur gonna end up gaining weight.

so..u have to ask urself..whether u would continue exercising the same way FOREVER?!

whatever ur answer is..i would suggest u to take it slow. let ur body burn that much of calories that u can consume without starvin urself later on. 600 is tooo less. u may end up getting low b.p or sumthing.

if ur going to stop exercising..then once u stop..u will have to reduce ur daily intake..to how much of calories ur body naturally burns..n then increase it slowly by slowly. if u increase ur calorie intake slowly..u wont gain any wieght

i hope i didnt write this in an xtremely complicated way..lol.

1200 cals is barely enough for a 4 month old baby. on 600 cals a day you can be sure that you will have very little muscle mass and a very high body fat percentage if you follow this starvation diet for an extended period of time.

As long as your maintain your body weight and not losing muscle then OK.

If you are feeling week or tired and you push your self on any how... That is how I wound up getting Mono. I went under weight.

You want to avoid getting that one. After I had mono my energy level dropped permanently. This happened in 2000 and I still feel it's affects. Lesson learned, don't push your self too hard or your systems will fail and you get sick.

You should probably be eating around 2000 calories.

O.k.?? O.k. for what?? I spose it would be o.k. if you just want to eke out an existance from which you derive no joy, happiness, fun, pleasure at all because you have NO ENERGY!! Don't be silly. Just focus on loads of fresh fruit and vegies, the green vegies like spinach,kale,lettuce,rocket/broccolli are the ones that spike the serotonin and dopamine (the feel good drugs) production in your brain, lean meats and fish and chicken, whole grain cereals and breads, cut right back on milk and dairy products and drink loads of water................. make sure you have lots of fun too, cos everyone needs to play!!............:0)
