It depends, honestly. There is no definitive answer. I would like Lindsey Lohan, but I have girl-friends that are in a relationship that I wouldn't touch with a 10 ft stick...
So it just depends, I'd say about 70-80% of the time, yes, we want what we can't have, even if it is subpar, but there is a huge variability factor you can't count unless you give more details than that.

Both sexes do. It is human nature to want what you can't have. What was unappealing before is suddenly appealing when it is off limits.
