The experience of life reveals God if one cares to pay attention.

Nice question.

A simple and complete answer to your question would be that man from every civilization could not apprehend the simple logical and accurate truth about GOD and Religion.

Coz' GOD is GOD but religion is man made. Religion is a definite strategic of systematically organized idea or concept created by man and evolved with man , whereas GOD is always GOD.

Think !!!

You see, there are many civilizations in this world - each one posses its own cognitive values , culture, heritage, custom, tradition , institutions and .......RELIGION.

So the point is :::::::::::::::::::: Religion is actually the glue that bonds and keeps each and every one of the attribute qualities I mention above in a civilization etched tightly together.

Religion is the backbone muscle of a civilization for which that civilization's society is to posses its own unique identity and icon or banner that classify and identify it's community with respect in this world.

Knowing that the religion is the essence, religion is the back-bone, religion is the mantra and religion is the answer in preserving and conserving everything of a civilization - and it is therefore this have enormously prompted the society of a civilization to create and evolve the attitude , discipline and life to be such and such that ensures particularly its religion is to be dissolved in the most significant and effective fashion as how it is done until today - relate to your question.

We have to listen and rely on what was told to us - that’s the religion, it must prevail and maintained in such a fashion from one generation to another generation in order for the civilization with all its unique values to be conserved and preserved.

Lets say Ur an Islam - I come to you and tell you about Hinduism. Would you believe Hinduism and therefore convert - no you wont . WHY ? , That’s very simple, its because of Ur religion !!!!! -- A person was brain washed from young to accept the formalities and realities of his parents religion. It’s What and how you were told about GOD.

And you were fed with your parents religion in such a way that if you believe another religion then that would be a betrayal , humiliation, disgrace and embarrassment to your parents, to you and to your community itself.

If a reproduction system or SEX simply needs to exists in order for human race to exists , then a religion must exist in the way and fashion it does today in order for human civilizations to be conserved and preserved with time and technology.

That answers Ur question in the lamest and complete way - I believe.

P/s - in a car accident , someone told you what he saw about that accident. - well you cant say much about the accident yourself - because you only have a "second hand" news and therefore you never know the truth relative to that someone "first hand" who experienced it directly.

In today’s religion where we have people brain washed severely that they talk everything not what they experienced but its hundreds of thousands of HANDs News .

people talk what is GOD and what is Satan - I dare to look straight on to their eyes and ask HOW DO YOU KNOW ?

Think !!

Oh wow, THANK YOU!!!!

Nobody seems to get the point that they just follow like sheep about what they are told (like in the bible, heh) that they are to believe. People grow up believing in something because they are taught it by their parents. When the lights finally came on for me, I realized that I had no basis, no spiritual connection, to my religious beliefs. They were totally unfounded. I had no reason to believe what I believed other than because I was taught that since birth.

I threw it all away.

Now am on my own personal spiritual search for truth. Some people get that, some people don't. I can't believe that the bible is more than a story (not a great novel at that) just because a bunch of people believe in it. A bunch of people once believed that Zeus ruled the Gods and that Phaethon, the child of the Sun god and a mortal, charioted the sun across the sky.

Mythology makes for a much better read too.

I believe that everybody needs to find religion for themselves. Every child born into every religion will be raised with the idea that they are right and everybody else is wrong. Who is to say who is right? You have to believe. You have to understand, not just follow because that is all you know.

That being said, I don't know that I want to discuss my religious beliefs with others as openly as I once did. Is it my job to try to make them doubt their beliefs? I hate it when they try to tell me that I am wrong. I won't do the same. They are free to believe what they want.

Let me find my own personal Truth.

When u type this question, u muct have found similar questions. Then why did u post this question here????

If you are really searching for the truth, then by the Grace of God, u will find it. But, if u want to turn the people here from God, then let me tell you, God does not mislead people when He knows they want to be on the Right Path.

For all those people who deny the existence of God show their ignorance. That is, why can't they see, who CREATED THEM, the SUN, the MOON, the PLANETS, the UNIVERSE, and every SINGLE animal, plant, insect and so on???????

Were these things made by themselves?????It is quite logical. There has to be ONE creator, because, with the inventions in Technology, Science should make another World of this kind.Or just make a pebble of this Earth and show us. Pray to God, to help you understand Him and to know Him better. Think about ur digestive system, circulatory system, nervous system, Respiratory system and so on???? How do they function?????

People who deny the existence of God is like denying the prescene of air, atoms, electrons, gases, bacteria, minerals, vitamins and sugar in the blood and so on. Becasue all these things cannot be seen by our eyes, but we believe by their presence. Is not the Creation of God, enough to speak of Himself??????????????????????????????????????

Sometimes people feel they are not trained enough to know the truth so they rely on those who have training. Some people are more comfortable letting someone explain things to them because they don't know were to look or how to start. Sometimes they are taught they can not questions, that questions are a sign of disloyalty. Then there are some who are not only taught to look for answers themselves but encouraged to do so.
Like everything else pertaining to humans, the reasons are as varied as the individuals.

I rely on both what I'm told AND what I have experienced personally. Just like I do in every other area of my life. I've never been to Paris, but I rely on what other people tell me about it in order to know that there is a really big tower there.

Not everyone is a genius theologist. Thus, the rest of us need to rely on those smarter than us in order to properly understand God.

some people, even ones who wanna be close to God, have a hard time believing in something or someone they can't see. It's very difficult. At times, God is testing us, to see how close to Him we are, and want to be! Some people have tough lives, by no fault of their own, and kinda walk on eggshells when it comes to God. They don't wanna jump right into Christianity. They wanna see what God has to offer. God is always there for us, if we wanna find Him. But are we always there for Him, when He wants us to find Him? nope! We are off sinning and taking advantage of the "freewill" that He gave us. Of course, one day we will have to answer to Him for how we used and abused that "freewill".

Good question; it actually covers the way social customs regarding religion have been framed over time. Anyway, the moment I reached my teens, I started studying Christian, Islamic & Jewish scripture and have had a much, much better understanding of religion. My comfort level is also very satisfying.
I think like most things, it comes from searching and effort; for some people it might be meditation, for others reading and studying scripture.
Cheers.

Because natural selection has predisposed human children to believe human adults as a method of survival - Don't touch that it bites, eat this it's good etc etc unfortunately not everything they are told is true.

I wish some people could think like you. You are right, spirituality cannot be forced, but it can be exposed. I don't think that the people are too afraid, but rather just don't believe in it.

To know God we must read the Bible and listen to church teachings,in all of this there are rules of life, like the commandments for example, then having accepted all this we must then embark on our own personal relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ armed with this basic knowledge.
