Nope. Jesus said that we would be like angels in response to the Saducees' (who did not believe in the resurrection of the dead) question regarding whom would a woman w/many dead husbands would end up once dead herself. He said: "You ask this because you don't know the Scriptures".
There is no marriage in heaven as it is on Earth ("no one is given in marriage"). Therefore, yes we will be like angels and no, angels do not reproduce. The mandate "Be fruitful and multiply" applies only to humans on Earth.

Hi Ian, I believe that as Angels are spirit beings and have no physical bodies then they cannot procreate like us,perhaps this was one of the reasons that Lucifer rebelled against God when he saw that God had given to us this wonderful gift and not the Angels, there is a mention somewhere in the Bible though about Angels having sex with women and their offspring were giants called `Nephilim` but I would imagine that these were fallen Angels(demons) who posessed men to be able to do this.

Angels are spirit persons and have no gender. Only 144,000 humans from the earth will be transformed into spirit persons to serve in heaven, all the rest of mankind who gain salvation through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, will live eternally on a restored paradise earth. Angels are free agents just like ourslves, it is just they are spirit instead of flesh and reside in heaven. They could choose to do wrong same as us, the punishment is the same, sin is lawlessness and sin is punished by being put out of existence. God cannot allow unrighteousness to live along with the righteous so as to bring about disturbance.

The making of spiritual bodies (like souls and angels) would probably differ from procreative corporeal life forms.
Multiplying our goodness through kind words, enlightenment, and deeds of giving and goodnesss are great ways of extending our humanity.

If Jesus really said that, it means our piousness not our sexual prowess.

I'd rather be man than angel. Angels have no free will and have specific duties to uphold. Man can choose otherwise.
