Did it start around christmas? That is such a magical time for kids. Maybe she is just replaying it. I am sure its just a fase and she will grow out of it. Once she goes to nursey ect she will be so busy she wont think of it. Saying my son is 11 and still wrapping things but he was diagnosed with ADHD 2 years agp

my 5 year old daughter still wraps things up and loves handing me little gifts.i don't see any harm in this.once we lost a dvd cover from the video shop,5 months later when cleaning out her closet i found the dvd cover wrapped up in a pillowcase inside a suitcase..haha.unless she is wrapping things up you really dont want her to let her go.maybe make up a box of paper and things she is alowwed to wrap up and play with. :)

this is her way of showing love and compassion, did you wrap her in a blanket when she was a baby, do you tuck her tightly in her covers at bed time has she seen you wrap alot of things ( like me i sell on ebay so my kids do the same thing with everything) its normal its her way of expressing healthy behavior, give her things to wrap up and paper or a pillowcase or anything this helps her understand what shes doing is ok and its fun to unwrap the (suprise)o ver and over.

Don't worry about it, my daughter does this and she's three and a half. She's been doing it since she was 2. I think it makes them feel grown up coz they're doing something constructive. Just make sure there's nothing lying round that you're gonna need because then you have a mad hunt on your hands.

That's very cute. Good for the hand-eye coordination too. My daughter used to hide things. Mobile phones, bits of cheese, pacifiers...

It's good that she has an interest in something. Perhaps she will master the art of wrapping and move on to bigger accomplishments.

kids of that age do strange things.
surely she enjoys doing that so let her .
eventually they get over it.
so dont stop her but as she gets older try and make her understand.
at that age they dont know whats is right or wrong.
there isnt anything wrong in what she is doing.

Is there something specific you wanted us to say?
She's not doing anything wrong, and maybe all this practice will come in handy in the future ;)
I say encourage her! Unless she chokes an animal or breaks something...
