It is strange to you ,like your language`s characters are strange to Arabs,look at that relatively,they are very beautiful all curved characters,looks like a form of art...
But if you mean you can`t see them correctly on your browser,then change the encoding into Unicode in the view menu in the toolbar

It's typical that arabic characters are strange to you if you don't know arabic if that's what you mean
If the arabic characters appear strange to you on the browser : View > Encoding > Arabic
But if you're talking about some people using numbers when they write arabic words in english characters .. they use them to express the arabic letters that don't exist in the english alphabet like :
3 = ع
7 = Ø
2 = Ø¡

Do you mean that you don't see the Arabic characters properly? Maybe you need to change the encoding.
Go to "View" - "Encoding" and choose "Arabic Windows"

Hope this helps :-)

It is strange for you, because you haven't been exposed to it. It certainly is DIFFERENT from ours. And that is becaue its evolution has been different. you can read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Arabic_alphabet
