No girl that likes you is going to care about your scar. If it bothers you, talk with your doctor about getting a referral to a dermatologist. The appearance of scars can sometimes be reduced with treatment.

My face was nearly burned as a child. The hot grease spilled on my arm instead. Even that scar attracted attention I did not like.

You have the power to change your point of attraction. There is a great deal of things for you to refocus on right now that will allow you to feel better. As you use tools to create how you want to feel about yourself, the scar will diminish, and others will pay less attention to it.

The scar is growing (in your mind) because of your attention to it.

Lets do a thing called pivoting. When your mind floats towards the scar, create a more general thought that is more positive.... even very basic things.

"Just look at that thing".
"Well, actually my eyes are rather bright".
"My last haircut really feels right".

Set your intentions right now. Can you start with the hope that it is possible to change your focus?

Will you say that you can?

Take a breath and believe that everything will change and the scar will effectively shrink.

Today, decide that you choose happiness. Imagine a wonderful girl talking to you about all the cool things you REALLY are. She is out there for you, and you must attract her.

Lastly, be sure to stop the thoughts that neutralize your dreams:

"OK, she's out there, but she might not really like me."

That must change to:

"She is out there waiting for me."

I've heard an awesome story of a girl just like you. She was burned badly on the face and feared she would not find a partner.

She got a handsome, caring man who loves her very much. That story makes me warm inside.

Best wishes.

Most girls I know actually think scars are sexy on guys. It's the Bad Boy thing and they love the mystery of it all.

Dude, your misfortune is actually a goldmine!

When I was 19 I had a friend who had a scar right under one of his eyes. it was about 2 inches and it was the sexiest thing!
Give people credit. Most people can see beyond our skin.

I think many girls would find that very endearing. I met a guy who had a huge scare on his face...it took me forever to get over him. I really did think it made him look even better.I would say that a girl wouldn't care...

Just say you got to do what you got to do. Leave a little mystery about it.
