The Bible leads us to understand that in his creation Adam was to be unique. Adam was created with a purpose of service and work (to keep the garden of Eden); and initially, Adam was not to be as the animals that would produce offspring by union with a mate. Distinct from the angels and other created beings, Adam was to be a companion to GOD and was to have intimate contact with GOD. It is in this sense we understand Adam was not naked, he was covered in innocence and spiritual light. When the female was created and given to Adam as his wife, the two were acknowledged as one flesh before GOD. GOD called them both "Adam" (the male later gave the female the name "Eve" because she was the mother, i.e., caretaker, of all living). For this reason, it is not correct to say that Sex was the original sin; and it should be understood reproduction by Sex was GOD's intent for the pair. The turning point is that, through separation, Eve was deceived by the Serpent; Adam was not deceived. By acting in self will and turning away from the will of GOD, the male joined the female in the act of deliberate disobedience. The basis for their union shifted from the intent and design of GOD to the platform of human thought and feeling. Adam and Eve lost the indwelling spirit of GOD that produced the covering of light for Mankind; and the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost, would not be returned to Mankind in a broad and continuing dispensation except through the second Adam, Jesus Christ. Through exercise of self will, our two foreparents became destructively self aware and self critical. All of the offspring of the 1st Adam now enter conflict with GOD (and with one another) through self will that denies the existence and legitimacy for any other will, for any holier will. Jesus is called the Prince of Peace not so much because he causes war between nations to cease as for the resolution he brings to the conditions of intrapersonal and interpersonal spiritual conflict, and the conflicts between the human and divine wills.

Grow in grace.

Because eating the apple is a metaphor for oral sex and if God wanted people to have oral sex then we would have our eyes right above our genitals?the snake the apple the tree in the center of the garden by the way there was no apple in the bible its the fruit of the tree in the center of the garden then also maybe its that Adam and Eve were naked or without physical bodies but i think its sexual orgasm lead them to be ashamed.Ya cant really say that in church so they use symbolism.It teaches more about the human condition of being disobedient and God knew exactly what Adam and Eve would do.So why did God put forth a law that would surely be broken? My conclusion is that God wants us to evolve.What do you think?

They did not have the sin nature. They did sin though. The sin was eating what God told them would kill them if they ate it. And we all have the sin nature because of the fall. Jesus, being born of a woman, was like the first Adam in His flesh before the fall. He had to be tempted by the old snake also. He was, and did not sin. So that is why He is the Sinless Lamb of God, and death could not keep Him in the grave. He rose from the dead. All creation was good when God created it. Lost innocence happened when they ate of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good & evil after God told them not to.

After the man, Adam, had eaten of the tree,
the LORD God called to the man and asked him, “Where are you?”
He answered, “I heard you in the garden;
but I was afraid, because I was naked,
so I hid myself.”
Then he asked, “Who told you that you were naked?
You have eaten, then,
from the tree of which I had forbidden you to eat!”
The man replied, “The woman whom you put here with me—
she gave me fruit from the tree, and so I ate it.”
The LORD God then asked the woman,
“Why did you do such a thing?”
The woman answered, “The serpent tricked me into it, so I ate it.”

Then the LORD God said to the serpent:
“Because you have done this, you shall be banned
from all the animals
and from all the wild creatures;
on your belly shall you crawl,
and dirt shall you eat
all the days of your life.
I will put enmity between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and hers;
he will strike at your head,
while you strike at his heel.”

The man called his wife Eve,
because she became the mother of all the living.

On the contrary, it is 'after' they ate from the tree that they did realize they were naked. satan's job is to work on our minds first because it is in the natural. Which is the only realm he has been ejected to and can operate in. May God Bless U.

Sometimes I think that the bible was a children's storybook gone wrong. It reminds me of how Link defeated Ganondorf, and escaped just as the castle came crumbling down.. And then Zelda got woken up from her spiritual bliss by Link :D

Shame. Not for their nakedness, directly. But for their having disobeyed their Father's Instruction not to eat of the fruit ( not an apple). They knew, full well, what this meant: they were to waste away and die, back to the earth. So, their demeanor was to hide - naked body and all.
You and I might feel like hiding our face in shame. they felt like hiding their entire body.

Clothing and nakedness were often used as metaphors for spiritual understanding or ignorance.

To your first question, because they became self-conscious. I don't believe in Satan, so I can't answer your second question.
