i am even catholic confirmed. but i find myself questioning my religion quite often nowadays. I may sound like a hypocrite in this a few times, but try to overlook it. I love God. But is there really God? The bible could've been written by a bunch of guys who wanted to create a religion..i dont know. Maybe Im sinning right now, just by questioning catholocism. Who knows the REAL truth? what if the people going to church every sunday are wasting their time? what if people that dont believe in God will burn in hell? If there was adam and eve, what about evolution? hard evidence outweighs belief to me..maybe its the belief in God that matters. I dont want to get struck by lightning tomorrow. I dont think God wants us to live in fear of H/him. I hate singing at church. people are falling asleep at church, why do they go? what happens to us after we die? do you believe in kharma? im asking alotta q's. but i dont want to burn in hell. but i also dont want to worship a fake idol my whole life

Do you really think a supreme being would punish you for asking questions? He'd have to be insane, and therefore, not god. Humans are made to explore new worlds, and reach for truth. God must be proud of those traits in us. I won't tell you what religion to follow. That's up to you. Investigate. Find the tools you can recognize.

Read The Essence of Christianity, it tears apart Christianity from a psychological perspective. And concerning Hell you have to ask yourself, "Am I really better than Ghandi or Thomas Jefferson?" Because they're presumably in Hell for rejecting Christ yet they were honorable and good. So look beyond your own pain and replace fear with principles.

The Bible say you may know, now the catholics are doing a bunch of "TRADITIONS OF MAN" That are not in the bible so you do a bunch of religious duties that men made up not God, that's why you are question it, but the Bible says you may know,How? By getting God to give you his holy spirit we call it being born again and that's what he requires, read this page and get his spirit and be renewed, Jesus said that all traditions of man would make the power in his word VOID!

I feel sorry for you confusion I can only suggest you read the bible yourself and ask Jesus into your heart. you need to be born again of the spirit. read John and the other Gospels is a good start. the catholic church has become more tradition that faith. that is the problem of having a hierarchy and pope they will not let it go forward. you do believe in God ask him into your heart ( life).
