Love conquers all and Jesus is pure love.No hate lives in God.He may hate deeds but not His creation. That is why He gave His life up because everyone is a sinner and the Bible says if you do not sin you are a lier

War has been CAUSED by religion throughout the centuries. All of the crusades were (at least in name) based on religion. Too often there are bits of scripture that say kill this and kill that. Leviticus alone has hundreds of laws calling for sacrifice and death. In the Old Testament you can find chapter after chapter of wars decreed by God. Religion will not stop wars.

What will stop them is rationality and an understanding of other people. Instead of simply saying that this religion or culture or people are wrong or evil just because they are different from yours, learn about them. Find out what is good about their ways.

The Christian/Muslim conflicts are honestly the ones that bother me the most. In older times it was believed that the two religions followed different gods. Then, eventually, someone read both scriptures and realized that the two religions are created bu Abrahams two sons. Both were made very similar promises by "God" and developed in different ways with different prophets. In the old wars though the battles were "My god is real/stronger/better than your god." Now that we KNOW that the god followed is the SAME god, the conflicts are nothing more than a childish and petty "HE LIKES ME MORE!"

People are going to do what they're going to do, regardless of what's in the scripture, dear.
Throwing stones is far from what's going on in the world, and I don't think even Jesus can stop that!
Everyone makes choices, and a lot of people don't follow the scripture, hence the term "War in the name of Freedom and Justice". People have a warped way of thinking what war really means and how it will benefit the country, but in hindsight, wars have been carried on for so many centuries, it's not about God, Freedom, or even Justice, anymore. Wars will continue to be something that is used as a power trip between politicians who are greedy and selfish.

Incorrect, actually. Even if everyone believed in the same religion (which will never happen), who do you think would get the "Holy Lands"? There will always be some war, some hate, some cruelty. You are also assuming that every Christian is a good person. That is a VERY false misconception - There are these people called extremists. They will set the world at war, and your idea of peace will return to the dust, as it should.

YES!
Absolutely. If we all followed the Scriptures CORRECTLY, not just some parts, but EVERYTHING, there is no doubt in my mind that there would be no war between humans. But there is still an ongoing war between Satan and us and God.
And to those people who say: "But we DO follow the Scriptures, and it doesn't seem to work." You are wrong. Do you honestly believe that every single person on earth is following the COMPLETE Scriptures?
But, though I wish it were no so, I do not believe that it is possible, not until Jesus comes again, for this to happen. Everybody would be without sin, which CANNOT happen, for He is the only one who has not, and never shall, sin.

Jesus said, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." That could have been only himself and he said, "Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more." Mercy is greater than vengence, however, even the scriptures tell us there was war in heaven when Satan was cast out. As terrible as war is, we should always focus on the greater good. The only thing evil needs to succeed is for good people to do nothing.

This is another clear indication of delusion in the religious mind.
IF you were to read your bible fully, or even worse - the q'ran, you will see that both books are FULL of killing and destruction and wars and urges for you to do so.
That aside, wars would continue, and will continue, based on manind's needs. At some time, there will be a war over oil supplies, over water supplies, over survival of a nation or even individuals due to imminent shortages of basic needs.
The bible and similar have nothing to do with what is to come and, as god is imaginary, there is nothing it can do to intervene, much as it has never intervened in the past.
Praying is totally pointless, so don't waste your time. Use your time to work out how you and your family will survive.
No apologies for being realistic.

In a twisted, utopian society, I guess.

In the real world, this would not be true. Difference in opinion is found even within the the Christan religion. Even limiting it to one sect of Christianity, different interpretations of the Bible can be found.

This simply means that rather than Muslims fighting Christians, it would be Methodists fightin Catholics

No that is not correct. If people dropped religion then there would be less war an violence.

You say that you are hearing voices. This is one of the symptoms of schizoid delusional mental disorder. You should seek psychiatric help immediately. You might be developing schizophrenia and if untreated it might have dire consequences.
