Heat treat it in a furnace, but know the rules. Steel can get harder or more flexable. You will know that by the color of its glow (white, orange, red) before you slap it in some water. If the sword becomes too flexible, it can bend till it it bent back. If the sword is too hard, it will eventually shatter into fragments.

Also certains swords need much more spring than others.

Why do you want to make it stronger? It's illegal to use, you aren't trained in sword fighting, who would you use it against, and you would probably get killed TRYING to use it. Go play with your legos little boy.
