Yes, and what else I have noticed is that we all have such an easy time becoming friends, even though we have never met in person. Having the truth in common, gives us so much common ground, and our love for Jehovah and his Son, Jesus, gives us such a strong bond. Being in union with them, makes us in union as well. Serving the same purpose and love makes us friends and family the moment we meet. You certainly can tell that the Scripture at John 13; 34 & 35 is true with us!!!

" I am giving YOU a new commandment, that YOU love one another; just as I have loved YOU, that YOU also love one another. 35 By this all will know that YOU are my disciples, if YOU have love among yourselves.”

How true this is. I have an acquaintance that goes to a big church, and she said that she and her husband have been going for months and no one has ever even spoken to them! Can you imagine that! How sad that there is so little love for one another in Christiandom, as opposed to the love we have for our brothers and sisters worldwide! No matter who, or where they are, we have agape love for them!

Funny how I thought agreeing on something was a good thing especially when you can prove it and fighting and killing inside a "family" was bad. In all the wars in recent memory, it has been Catholics, Methodists, Baptist against Catholics, Baptists, Methodists, etc. Even in the individual religions there are 30-50 differnt kinds or sects. Jesus said there was one way to worship his Father and to identify that way is for those people to have love among themselves. Funny, I never thought shooting one another was showing love.

I find it truly wonderful that when I visit a congregation in another country with a totally different culture, I can still follow the meeting even when I don't understand the language. I can follow in my Bible and I know what they are talking about - because we speak the "pure language" of truth.

That is kewl for them..BUT..have you researched how many of the other denominations are even more united around the world? And just because there are so many churches in so many places doesn't mean they have all the truth either.

Have you noticed that the appeal to majority is a fallacy?

I have noticed that. Someone on the radio made a VERY APPROPRIATE comment on this:
If we all think the same, then someone isn't doing some thinking.

The JW's confuse unity with uniformity.

Yes. I love the JW's.

Considering that questioning anything that comes to them is grounds for excommunications I would be surprised if they didn't seem united.
