My mom has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in her colon, lung, spine, bones and adrenal glands. She has been given 4 to 6 months to live. I had to break the news to my 93 year old grandmother, who has already lost her husband and 2 of ther other children to cancer. My mom has no money and no life insurance. My hubby's company is closing it's doors and he is almost 52 and will be looking for work again. Pray that we find a way to accept what is happening to mom, for my hubby to find a new job soon and for us to find a way to cover my mother's burial costs.

Thanks in advance and God bless you all, even those of you who don't believe in God.

God I pray that you help this family through this hard time.
Be a comfort to them.
Surround them with Your love and help them to find the help that they need to get through this.
I pray that You let them know clearly that grieving is not weakness and that it is OK to feel whatever they feel for as long as they need.
I pray that you will put people in their lives that can be a comfort and offer practical help in their time of need.
I pray that you help this mother feel peace and that you would take away or reduce any pain she may be feeling.
I pray that work is found and that it provides more than enough finances for their life.

Thanks God,
Amen

Don't speak death over your mom's life. The Word of God says that we can call those things that be not, as tho they were. God made us in His image. That means what ever the Bible says that God did for someone else, He will do for us. Have you ever noticed that when God created the world, He did not physically work. He always spoke it into existence. I.E. and God said let there be light and God said let us make man in our own image, etc. God always said. Even when Jesus came to earth, He went about healing the sick and raising the death. Jesus told us that the works that He did, greater works than these we would be able to do because He was going to the Father and that if we ask anything in His name, He would do it. Did you know that God searches the world over trying to find one person with sufficient faith that He may show favor to on their behalf. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things not seen. If you can believe it, God can do it. Start speaking life to your Mom and don't allow others around you to speak dead about her.In 1996, my Mom had a cancerous tumor on her brain the size of a grapefruit(via the doctors). We began to pray and seek God on her behalf as never before. We began to speak life into her life and most above all, we BELIEVED that God would do it. Well, to God be the glory today she is not only alive and well, but she is living her senior years worry free and even able to drive herself any where she wants to go. We may call her and she is on her way to cities miles from us. Now it was not easy and it was not a smooth road. But no matter what it looked like, we still believed the Word of GOd.Get in the Bible and find every scripture you can find about God, Jesus and healing miracles and begin to stand on it. We are living witnesses, God can and will do it. And as far as your husband, if God is able to heal your mom, don't you think a job for your husband is a small thing for Him to do. Be encouraged. May God Bless U.

I will definitely pray for you and your family. My Dad just passed away from cancer last Sunday. He had also been given only 3-6 months to live - 3 years ago!

No. An Atheist does not believe god exists, so why would they pray to something that does not exist? That just does not make sense.

You can find comfort and direction in the daily reading of your bible, start in John and finish the book, read this page about the holy spirit and ask God to fill you and the whole family and he will bless your life, I lost my mom in 93 the same way but the Lord Jesus has let me know she is there all ready and that she is in my future not my pas and he has given me his Holy spirit for comfort and blessings, you need this for this kind of thing and everything else, here is how to get it, read this page'. and yes we will pray! inJesus name!
