In the account of Adam and Eve .... after eating of the tree of knowledge of good and bad ... God denies ...?

them access to eating of the Tree of Life ..... I was wondering if there could have been a tree that .... while eating its fruit , it enabled the human body to regenerate and live forever ... unlike any other animal or living flesh. This tree would have been needed for mankind to live forever ... as originally planned. Does this sound kosher ??

The tree of life is Christ and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is satan, they did not need food to make them live forever until they were tricked and god gave them over to flesh. Eve did not eat an apple, read it for yourself.

because of the fact there are distinctive stages of understanding something. to illustrate, i could desire to verify up on the midsection and recognize the way it works. yet somebody who's a coronary heart surgeon could have a some distance deeper know-how of it because of the fact of a deeper point of adventure. for this reason, Adam and Eve had adequate know-how of evil to recognize that ingesting from the tree strengthen into incorrect. although, they won experiential know-how of sturdy and evil in a while. And in basic terms like not all reports are solid, not all experiential know-how is powerful.

Luckily Adam and Eve were not in Thailand or like. Other wise they would have eaten snake instead of apple and the scenario would have totally changed.

Yes there was a "Tree of Life".

3 Now, we see that the man had become as God, knowing good and evil; and lest he should put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat and live forever, the Lord God placed cherubim and the flaming sword, that he should not partake of the fruit—

15 And now, the plan of mercy could not be brought about except an atonement should be made; therefore God himself atoneth for the sins of the world, to bring about the plan of mercy, to appease the demands of justice, that God might be a perfect, just God, and a merciful God also.

It's all part of the plan! Carefully read Genesis 3:3 and you will see that the tree was placed in the "midst" of the garden....the Fall was supposed to take place! Christ has provided a way for us to overcome temporal and spiritual death.

1Cor.15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
