The Gospel of Thomas.
It does not figured in the Bible yet it is the best one to me. Below you can find the url to it.
The words of Jesus are very powerful and deep. The style is quite different from the other gospels. The start of the gospel says it all : "These are the secret sayings that the living Jesus spoke and Didymos Judas Thomas recorded."
Have a nice reading.
Peace.

I love the Gospel of John. John Chapter 17 is really intimate, Jesus praying to his Father Jehovah.

From the Greek New Testament: John because it is the easiest to translate. Really simple Greek.
From the English Bibles: either Matthew or Luke. Matthew on the one hand is more chronological, but Luke is more of a historian. Luke writes more like "on one day" "on another day", "on one Sabbath". Luke is not very precise probably because he did not know exactly what day it was.

After 2000 years still there are pagans in our midst though. Am I to please you or displease myself? Either way gospel is no more than 'prescribed truth'. I myself write my prescriptions for I do no believe in what is said.
I take bible for what it is not i.e, a scientific revelations book.
In other words things written in the bible will have to be proved.

I am really getting into Luke now. I feel it is the most complete account of Jesus' life.
