Well, the bible doesn't mention that it was an Apple (perhaps in some English translations, but the original text doesn't.) The tree doesn't exist in physical form, as the garden of Eden isn't a physical place, but rather a way for man to understand what Heaven is. If you'd like to know what the tree of knowledge was, look into Quabalah. The tree of knowledge is part of the tree of life (which is also mentioned as being in the garden of Eden) an integral part of Qabalah.

While classically represented as an apple, the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil was not described in other terms other than to say that it was "pleasing to the eye" and "good to eat".

This fruit remains today, since it is an allegorical representation of sin (though the Biblical story is accurate and also factual). After eating it, Adam and Eve, who up to that moment knew only good, were now aware of both good and evil.

The Word of God does not say what the fruit is. It just says it is the Tree of Knowledge. May God Bless U.

The Garden of Eden is supposed to have been where modern day Iraq is now.
Since the whole Garden is no longer there, the tree is gone too, I would assume.

The Bible does not say. If you believe (as I do) that the Bible and therefore this story is true, then it is that simple. We don't know. It's not important, and no, the tree does not still exist on Earth today.

Who knows, who cares? Does it matter if it was an apple or an orange? If it was an apple, are we all destined to hell, but if it is an orange God was wrong and we are all safe?

The flood killed the vegetation,so it can't exist. The oldest tree is 4,400 years old, consistent with the flood in the bible.
