..not even constipation specifically.. but if some1 decided to hold it in could they become ill from their own excrements being in their body??

have any of you heard the story of the asian man who didn't poop for over a year?? he gained like 55 lbs and other than that he had no discomfort or illness..

Yes it can I hope I do not die of it I m in such pain becouse I was given a drink lime flavored laxative and it has not worked yet but I went in ER and I was so scared it was cancer becouse 2011 and two months into 2012 I did como for liver and lived through the experance and I didn t feel the stage three liver damage . But I beenin constipation for years becouse of the pain meds I like constipated becouse it s clean . But that was until now I guess I have such a major blockage a big portion is not moving and now is painfull

Constipation in itself cannot cause death, but if left untreated it can. Toxins begin to build up in the body, causing possible systemic break down. It is unhealthy for the body to not clear itself of toxins, it is wise to get your doctor's opinion and not be left untreated for very long.
