How can I help this? A new computer screen? Better lighting? I notice the effect if I haven't eaten, or if I'm tired, I think it's cause my eyes are weaker then?

Try getting glasses strictly for computer use. I have two pairs of glasses myself. One pair I wear when I'm working on computers, the computer glasses cause less stress and strain on the eyes. My other glasses I wear because I need them, I wear them when I'm away from my the computer, they are for distance, and everyday use as well as driving. If you spend a lot of time (more than an hour a day) on the computer you might want to invest in a pair of computer glasses.

It won't hurt to see an eye doctor. Maybe you are experiencing eyestrain when you use a computer and maybe need some glasses or a change in your prescription if you already use glasses.

Just to rule out all medical conditions, have your eyes checked and talk to your doctor about diabetes.
