I asked a question about sleep protection spells, and this Christian guy said that I had bad dreams because of my "additional details" which basically says I'm a pagan.

Why do people think they have the right to butt in and be so judgemental? Why can't people like that keep their intolerance to themselves? Does anyone else feel picked on?

I feel picked on.
But then I remember, what the source is, and understand that I am typically being picked on by intellectual children. Few are there, that have attained the maturity to recognize another's right to believe what they want. I myself, will only seem to pick on those who are asking for it by misrepresenting truth, you know, the slanderers.

If I wasn't secure in my own identity in Christ I could feel very picked on by many of the answers on here. Foxtrot "intellectual children" Jeff O "Verbal diarrhea" It goes both ways. Both sides of the issue get insulted and picked on. The difference is that Christians are just stating what the Bible says, and athiest are just being rude and insulting. I know that some Christians can be rude too, but not all that is called rude really is.

Can you try to put yourself in another's shoes?? If I truly believe what my Bible says, I want to share that with others to save them the pain and suffering that the Bible says these things will cause them . That is love. Hopefully those who are answering you are motivated by this love. I know that some are just self-righteous and like to judge others and make themselves feel better. Those are what Jesus referred to as Pharisees. He didn't speak too highly of those people. But if the words come out of a true loving heart that wishes to help others see the danger in their lives, how can you begrudge them that?

Screw em.
I have yet to ask a question here that doesn't get a bunch of obnoxious answers. (Many that have nothing to do with the question) Even questions that don't have a thing to do with religion. So whatever I say. If they cant' play nice, I don't play with em. Ignore em. It's a valuable skill.

Personally, I think you should work through your dreams rather than try to block or protect yourself from them. Dreams are trying to tell you something. If you need help with this let me know.

Oh no, someone answered a question that you posted on an open and public forum and you didn't like their answer? I say we lobby congress to get laws to protect you from such indignities.

Perhaps you should direct your question here "Why do you think you're so wonderful?" to yourself...you (like the rest of us) are not that important.

It is annoying to read these things by people who say that they are Christian, and then go on to act like a total ***. It gives Christianity a bad name. Just ignore them, they will grow up some day.

As for 'am I wonderful?' Sure. Because God loves me, and I have a good sense of humor. If I were not great, I'd be depressed and who wants that? Oh, ya, I know... I gotta work on that humility thing...

Hi, Happykid, if you'll pardon me for mentioning this, you've done that exact same thing to Christians plenty of times.
Happy Easter!

No. I ask questions and people answer them. If I have expectations of the answers, for example, if I anticipate that all the answers will be agreeable to me, it's my expectation that leads to my disappointment, not the answer itself.

YES!!! I think I am wonderful because the bible tells me so. for it is written in Psalm 119 that I am "FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE." If god tells me that I am, therefore I am. Sorry if you don't feel like you are. Once you realized how god is soo good that out of his amazing grace, he created a wonderful and complex being such as yourself, then you will feel as wonderful as I.
