The name of Jesus was not mentioned as Jesus at the time of God's creation but God has a companion while creating everything and conscience tell that it was Jesus, His Son who was with him but did not participate during the creation. In Genesis Chapter l verse 26, it is very clear that God has His Son at that time because he used the word "we" not " I ". He said We will create man to our image .....take note again to the word "our" which is also plural tense of "my".

Mathew Chapter 1, is about the generation of Jesus that He came from the generation of Abraham was mentioned in Genesis.. Jesus was on the 14th generation from Abraham.

Geneses Chapter 18 -verse 1 and 2 -Lord God was seen by Abraham when he focused his sight above and have seen three men standing near him. Conscience tell that they are God, the Father, God, the Son ,Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

John Chapter 1 verse 1 to 5 -In the beginning is the Word and the Word is with God and the Word is God. meaning that Jesus Christ is the word Jesus, and he is with God and Jesus is God.

In the beginning Jesus was already with God and all those things created were with Him(jesus) and without his presence, no creation was ever made.Jesus is in life and the life is the light of man. The light is clearing or lighting the darkness and the light is over the darkness.. (The darkness is the devil while the light is Jesus)

To cotinue on reading it says: - There was a man who was sent through God, who is John and John came to be a witness to the truth regarding the light, so that because of him (John) everybody will believe.

John is not the true light but came to tell the truth about the light (Jesus). Jesus is the true light that is observing the whole world, because He was in the world (earth) and the world was created or made through him (Jesus)

Jesus came to the earth which is his own dwelling place but the people did not accept him (Jesus)

But all those who accepted him(Jesus) have belief on him so then Jesus give them the authority to have the right to become the sons of God.

Jesus was born not through blood or through the flesh or inside of mankind but in God.

And the Word (Jesus) became man and lived with the people to include John, that they have seen his Holiness, the Holiness like the only Son of the Father, with power and truthfulness.

To continue reading in verse 17,Moses give the commandments , the laws of God and the grace and the truth came through Jeus Christ.

Nobody have not yet seen God. The God who is the only begotten Son of the Father, whom the Father introduced..

Isaiah Chapter 53 verses 1 to 12- If you wlll read these verses and understand it, you will come to know that it is Jesus Christ who is reffered on those verses. It was not only mentioned the name Jesus because the book of Isaiah was written by a prophet who live in Jerusalem between 742 and 687 B.C.Isaiah is aalso one of the prophets of God

If you are looking for the word "Jesus" in the old testament then no, "Jesus" is not mentioned in the old testament.
However. "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel." (Isaiah 7:14) 'Immanuel' means 'God with us'; thus, Lord Jesus would be the God-sent Messiah that the prophecy referred to.

John 5:39
Jesus proclaimed, “You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me."

In Isaiah 53:10, starting with the sixth to last Yod counting every 20th letter from left to right spells Yeshua Shmi, or "Jesus is My name".*

The following sample of verses contain the name "Yeshua" in the original Hebrew.
Ge 49:18 I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD.
Ex 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD
Ex 15:2 The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God
Job 13:16 He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.
Ps 18:50 Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
Ps 22:1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
Ps 28:8 The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.
Ps 67:2 That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.
Isa 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation
Isa 52:10 The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
Jon 2:9 Salvation is of the LORD.

There are many Old Testament prophecies about Jesus Christ. Some interpreters place the number of Messianic prophecies in the hundreds. Following are those that are considered the clearest and most important. Regarding Jesus’ birth: Isaiah 7:14, “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.” Isaiah 9:6, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Micah 5:2, “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times."

Concerning Jesus' ministry and death: Zechariah 9:9, “Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion! Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and having salvation, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.” Psalm 22:16-18, “Dogs have surrounded me; a band of evil men has encircled me, they have pierced my hands and my feet. I can count all my bones; people stare and gloat over me. They divide my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing.”

Likely the clearest prophecy about Jesus, and definitely the longest, is the entire 53rd chapter of Isaiah. Isaiah 53:3-7, “He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.”

The “seventy sevens” prophecy in Daniel chapter 9 predicted the precise date that Jesus, the Messiah, would be “cut off.” Isaiah 50:6 accurately describes the beating that Jesus endured. Zechariah 12:10 predicts the “piercing” of the Messiah, which occurred after Jesus died on the cross. Many more examples could be provided, but these will suffice. The Old Testament most definitely prophesies the coming of Jesus as the Messiah.

he was represented by the rock hewn out of the mountain in moses day which moses struck twice and broke the type which prevented him from entering into the promised land.
that rock gushed forth water for the children of israel for forty years as they traveled thru the wilderness. that rock is spoke of again by daniel smiting that politcal image.
That rock symbolized christ and in contrast when Jesus said upon this rock I will build my church which still represents christ, not peter. peter had the revelation of jesus christ and who He is. the book of revelations is the revelation of jesus christ in which the church is built upon. amen

He is not mentioned. Yet He is there, from page 1. From Genesis to Malachi.
You say you cannot see Him?
