I would like to be able to buy it for less than $1000 if possible and would prefer new but rebuilt is ok... Does any one know where I can look?

or buy a rebuild kit and send the block and heads to be machined at any shop for around 300 just supply them with the parts like bearings and seals,valve seals, valves and timing chain. and then put it together your self a Master Engine Kit include: Pistons, Rings, Gaskets, Cam Bearings, Rod Bearings, Main Bearings, Oil Pump, Freeze Plugs, Camshaft, Lifters, Pre-lube, and Timing Set, and Valley Pan.

Just buy a 90-95 Caravan for $1,000 and save the trouble of swapping out that pain in the A$$ engine.

most new auto parts store carry salvage engines call them and give them the entire vin number.
