Are there any Christian books out there that are sort of a guide to how a Christian should live and act? Obviously, I know the Bible is the ultimate source, but I am looking for extra help that is more in-depth and will help me deal with some of the things I go through as a young woman in today's corrupt society. Have you read anything you would recommend? Thanks!

I have a book that I love called ,What Really Counts by Nelson Books, and it's a guide to discovering what matters most in life and letting go of the rest and is founded on Scripture. It has helped me to understand a lot of today's problems.

why would you need a book? if your a christian, you should already know. your going to go thru the same things every other person goes thru, you are no better than they are. from my experience, the christian people have been the hardest to work for, and the most critical. it seems they go against everything they believe in except on sunday. sorry if i sound biased, but ive had some really bad experiences working for them. love and understanding is the way to go, you dont need a book for that.

I think you already mentioned one of the best in a previous question. Imitation of Christ by Thoma A Kempis

You should read The Screwtape Letters by C.S.Lewis. Mere Christianity by him as well. Not directories Meggie, but certainly relevant to the cause of moral existence.

I like Rick Warren, Beth Moore, Joyce Meyer.

Try " Purpose Driven Life" by Warren. It is great. Millions of copies sold in many countries.

no book to recommend but watch the BVOV broadcast online everyday. They pretty much talk about how to walk the Christian life.

examine the Bodie Thoene A.D. Chronicles. I examine them repeatedly and on no account lose interest of them. they are in a position to be modern-day on your interior sight library and at reasonable value from Amazon.
