drugs away from him and changed his life, he says he is filled with strength and guided daily.

My question is, Jesus is the way the truth and the light, so when people of other religions say that God is working in their lives, is that just Satan trying to fool them?

God's grace works in everyone's life.

Lots of people simply fail to notice.

Hello and absolutely! The key thing about religion my friend is this: religion is man reaching out to God. Christianity is this: God reaching out to fallen, sinful man who is wholly unable to save his own soul. Yes, they may get freed from drugs...but what have they exchanged it for? They are just going from one addiction to another friend. Without the help and power of God man is just wholly unable to TRULY change their ways. The devil doesn't mind freeing them from one addiction in order to move it to another. Jesus Christ is the only way out of drug addiction or other life issue. The other things will not last, but can make a lasting change in a person's life. Know the truth friend and take care.

It's a possibility, as satan is the "father of lies". He is the biggest deceiver ever.

God and Jesus aren't religions - that's what messes people up. Being a Christian is not a religion - it's about having a personal relationship with Jesus as your Lord and Savior and receiving forgiveness for our sins through His death and resurrection.

Well, I won't give you the smug answer that the atheists did, knowing as they do that God absolutely doesn't exist. My knowledge of the Christian metaphysical framework would lead me to say that there is no single answer to this question. What was Jesus' response to the woman at the well? What was Jesus' response to the woman taken in adultery? What was Jesus' reponse to Pilate? to Herod? Think about it... to the centurion?

I believe that Jesus can cure anything! He is so that!!
I also believe that there is such a thing as the devil and his demons, trying to fool other non believers into thinking that they follow God. I think that is his key to keeping his kingdom as large as it seems. Even with believers, all he needs is a moment of doubt to keep you from aligning with Gods will. So we all need to be aware of our thoughts and keep them where they should be, aligned with God and his will.
I hope this is helpful. They are my opinions only, but I always answer from my heart.

well i tdepends on what you believe and what the religion claims.

if its christianity anything is devil worship outside their religions bounds. and the sad thing is it came after many religions and started off their campaign by labelling the paganism and other such occult at the time as evil. That is how they came up with the devil picture having horns, tail, and half man(closest resembling Pan or Bacchus from greek mythology and the wiccan God")

No. Your friend is drawing invalid conclusions from unsatisfactory evidence; Jesus had nothing to do with his abstinence, although the belief in such probably did. Neither god nor satan exists, and since the bible has hundreds of errors, the only safe way to treat it is as a work of fiction.

I have to change my answer after reading others. Who do we think we are defining the mind of God??? It is fine and good to try to help someone when they need it, but to tell people what God thinks is not only stupid but dangerous! All any of us can do is try to HUMBLEY be who we think he wants us to be. If that is telling people that people they know are displeasing to God because they don't believe just like we do...God help us!

Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life."

It depends on what other religions.

What happened to your friend was a combination of determination to make a change, focusing, and the placebo effect.

These work no matter what god or gods you believe in.

If he had decided to seek guidance from big bird, he would have gotten the same results.
