I heard this statement more than a few times. I would like to know what it means, what it means to you and how do you apply it to life in general?

It means to get up every day and love those who are put in your path to the best of your ability, resist temptation each time it crosses your path and carry your personal burdens with grace, humility and patience.

All of us bear some kind of cross. What the verse means is a true disciple of Christ must take up his cross and live a life of sacrifice and self-denial.

To me it means ,the life I have been given Live it.
Don't mummer and complain.
God knows the plan He has for me.And it is good.
I live my life daily ,as I think is pleasing to God.
My cross ,this day could be my husband,the next my job,or maybe my daughter.<><

It means to me that yesterdays faith ain't going to get me through today. And it reminds me to remember who I belong to before my feet even hit the floor. It means that I look for the opportunity to serve God in any given day. Which is why I am writing this to you.

and he will carry your burdens and pain
sorrow and sickness and all of your problems
to follow him in everthing he did, do also....
