Actually, it *was* pretty funny.
If you don't have a sense of humor -- RUN, don't walk, for the exit.
It's all in good fun. : )

If you really think about, pretty much EVERY joke on earth is at SOMEONE'S offense. It is always funny until the joke is on you. That said, there are dozens of supposedly true stories where people truly did believe they saw Jesus' image on a wall or on a tortilla or on a piece of toast. It is natural for people to be skeptical, and I have seen some of this "evidence" of God's divinity before... and it didn't even really look like anything. It was obviously a coindence or a stretch of the imagination. Now, I personally DO believe in Jesus, and I am skeptical of such stories. What makes you think that someone who doesn't believe in Jesus would not be even MORE skeptical? And if they are skeptical, it is natural they would find it funny, as you probably find things funny when you don't believe it. Now here is a question: if someone told you a joke about atheists, would you laugh? You may say you wouldn't... but I am skeptical of that as well. If I were you, I would not take anything said here so seriously. It's just Yahoo!

I once put my spoon down in my oatmeal and saw a clear depiction of Muhammed. I then had to kill myself with my cantelope fork by stabbing myself in the neck for having blaphemed the image of Muhammed by accidentally creating an image of him in my Oatmeal.
I write this posthumorously.

I'll answer your question with a question: why is it everytime a burnt tortilla or healed tree trunk seems resemble a human face, Christians post the image across the Internet? Why did the man with the face on the grilled cheese sandwich auction it?
I'm not sticking up for the poster who asked the silly question (the parody site Landover Baptist has such fare), but I submit that you did as he wanted: you responded! He wanted a rise out of people and got one out of you.

READ THE BIBLE.
God works in mysterious ways.
He appears in the clouds, on walls, on cookies, in marmalade,.... so whats the problem with appearing in someones oatmeal.
An oatmeal breakfast,..... is healthier than a fried greasy one, you know......... (Praise the Lord.)....
