Do you do religous things on Easter; things like pray, thanking God, and reading the Bible? There are those of us who cannot attend church but do honor the day as God wants. For those who honor Christ, will you honor Easter as it should be honored?

Already have. God home about 10:00 tonight. Our Vigil service was amazing! The scripture readings were so good.

I sang the first psalm. Then we had 3 more psalms, with 4 more old Testament readings, a reading from Romans 6 and the Gospel was from Matt 28. we had a kindling of fire outside our church and the darkened church was lit with only candlelight until right before the gospel of the Resurrection was proclaimed.

Tomorrow morning at the end we will sing the Halleluia Chorus from Handel's Messiah!

Easter is no more than a pagan festival celebration that like Christmas has been fused in with apostate Christianity.
The memorial of Christs death(which is what he admonished his followers to commemorate) had already been remembered by his true worshipers on Monday the 2nd of April,2007.This is the date that correspondes to Nisan 14 on the Jewish calender, the date Christ celebrated the Passover with his apostles and then instituted the Lord's Evening Meal.
As far as praying to God,and reading the Bible, true Christians do this every day,not once or twice a year.

"Honor Easter as the day that it should be honored?" You mean as a bastardization of a Pagan ritual welcoming the return of life called Spring? Yes I honor the return of Spring and I look forward to the flowers that will shortly bloom. This is the true meaning of Easter. When you are at church on Sunday, why not ask the priest/pastor/minister what the word 'Easter' means and where the word comes from.

I'm sorry dear,
Somewhere along the way you lost track of the Will of God.
I mean no disrespect, but the Christian High Day to remember is Passover not easter.

Easter is a pagan holiday to honor Istra and nothing to do with Jesus Christ. Its all in the Word of God. Go there for the Truth.

Yes it is true that Jesus Christ began our Passover. Passover is not just for certain peoples. It is for all of us.
In the morning know that Our Saviour has Risen, but it would be better to remember what God did for us by putting His life up as a sacrifice and defeating Death. (Satan)><>
