Quite awhile ago I bought some WalMart peanut butter dog cookies. My shepard-lab mix and my miniature poodle both got horribly sick from them. I stopped feeding htem to the boys, went and got a bag of mixed flavored cookies. They ALSO made them sick. 3rd times a charm, I got a bad that they were fine with. (by sick I mean they had a bad case of the runs and vomitting, sluggish behaviour, etc. I only gave them like 3 or 4 from each bad before I realized itr was happening)
So now what do I do with them? If I throw them out isnt there a chance some birds at the dump or other animals will eat them and get sick?

You can return them to the store for a refund.

heres what you do
bury them in the ground
thats all i can think of
and most people are suggesting just feed your dog some scraps from the table or ground meat until the recall is over because they dont know all the foods that are poisoned or anything
if you want to give your dog a treat just give him a slice of ham or something

All the companies who recalled their products posted toll-free numbers and websites. Search google for the company and go to their site...they should be able to tell you where to take the cookies.

Look on the manufacturer's website for recommended disposal methods.

Take them to your vet. Maybe they can treat them like toxic waste!
