For exercise, do three to four sessions a week, 60 minutes at a time, of intense jogging, running, the Stairmaster, the elliptical, jumping rope, or biking should be enough to get the process in gear. Swimming, hiking, and taking aerobics classes are beneficial as well.
Nothing beats jogging or running. It's the most intense, efficient, and effective method of burning calories. If running outside hurts your joints, try running inside on a treadmill or outside on a dirt path.
Again, you NEED three to four intense cardio sessions a week, at least 20 minutes a session, to help create a calorie deficit and help rid the body of the fat.
Also do at least ten minutes a day of strength training.
In terms of diet, you need to have 50 percent of your calories come from protein, 40 percent carbs, 10 percent fats. Cut calories gradually.

There isn't much you can do in a week, but you can drop a couple of pounds of water weight by not salting your food and eating bananas. They are high in potassium and help to flush excess water. Maybe you aren't as plump as you think you are, and remember, boys think that they have figure flaws too. Try for a nice smile and a friendly attitude, without screaming your head off or twisting your hair, and wait for the boys to notice you. Some of them don't like a lot of female aggressiveness, and prefer to do the chasing. Best wishes

in a weeks time any loss of "weight" on the scale would consist mainly of water. once you resumed normal eating the water weight would return. losing body fat is a slow process and can't be rushed or forced onto the body.

Don't eat french fries, bread, sugar, chocolate. Drink mineral water, no alcohol ! more vegetables, you can eat seafood ! Move you body all the time!
