I am not sure what the question is, but there are 12 yrs between me and my husband. We have been married 10 yrs. But we didnt start dating until I was 25 and we married when I was 29. If you are asking if a teenage boy should be involved with a preschooler than no. But if they got married after the girl was 18 then that should be fine. Hope this helps.

For any child to be starting a relationship in preschool is simply inappropriate. I don't care what culture you're in. Touching each others privates before a child is old enough to understand this, is molestation. What about this little girls rights. Even if she does understand, which i'm sure she doesn't she was picked out at young age by a boy much older without ever being given a chance to choose a man on her own. There are so many things wrong with this on so many levels. That the parents were involved and went along with this makes them unfit and irresponsible. I understand people do things differently in different cultures, but this to me is quite sick.

Well, there is really no age appropriate way... When I was 8 and asked my dad about it (having come across a few of my mom's romance novels), he did lay it pretty blunt. Just tell her that rape is a crime that does nothing but give pain and fear. No matter what, it is something that a horrible person selfishly does to satisfy himself---to have sex or murder and perhaps both at the same time. Hope that helps. A friend of mine recalled a time when she was a kid and was reasoning with her dad about other cultures (main theme was child brides); she told him that we all had no right to judge since it was their culture and it was what they grew up with. Her dad simply shook his head, and said, "Kid, it is not culture when it ends with: pain, blood, and a little girl crying in a corner. And it happens again and again because it's male supremist society." Even I had to say, that's pretty damn honest.

No that is not justified. There is never a time where it is appropriate for a teenager to date a preschooler. I dont care what happens it's just not right.

I think it's weird but if there was no sexual contact before she was married then I guess it's o.k. in a country like India where this is not unusual and very commom.

Preschoolers don't date. Dating is by definition, consensual. You have to explain to a preschooler what dating is, so it's not dating.

I'm sorry, I must ask first how old is the girl at the begining of this courtship? And how old is she now? that answers the question almost for itself.
