If they simply allow Christ into their hearts, these people will probably go to heaven. There is nothing to be afraid of there. I know you are all afraid of death because you think you'll just be rotting in dirt and that may be true but it may also be ttrue that you will go to Hell which will be far worse. On this day of Ressurection, I would like to invite all of you to partake of Christ our Lord and join us in our chruch services. It never hurts to try. Satan tells you not to come and you can show him he can't control you by coming anyway. You are not forced to beleive, just to join in the celebration of the Lord's Ressureciton.
God bless you all. Glory to his Name on High

*Breeze* - I know.
*Q* - Christianity is not a cult.
*Huffy B* - Hi. I am in the real world and I blame myself for my sins and I try never to commit those sins again so Godknows I love him and I'm listening. I am saying that the devil coaxes people to sin but people have free choice and can choose not to.
*Wynged* - What is a "Pascal"?

Afraid? ::scratches head:: The only thing I fear at this moment is this: I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about.
I don't fear death. In fact, you can check the ancient Romans if you want support for that - they wrote quite a bit about how the Celts don't fear death because they believe in an afterlife in the Otherworld. If I can look forward to being reborn in Tir na nOg, or one of the other realms, what do I need to fear?
I've been to church celebrations before. Even been to mass - it can be quite pretty. But there's some fundamental issues I have with God's actions - I cannot stay true to what I think is right and follow him at the same time. If that earns me Hell - so be it.

I have nothing to fear. The odds that Christians will murder me as they did my ancestors are very low nowadays....though they are not nil. I am also sorry for Christians because they appear to be happy with one lifetime of learning and then a dead end. While I will rest and contemplate the knowledge I have gathered in this cycles and remember all the knowledge and wisdom I absorbed in prior lives. Then I will be reincarnated to learn more and perhaps become even a little more wise.
I am so sorry for the Gentle Rebe. His followers have twisted and dirtied all of his teachings that weren't to their worldly profit.
If you want the Truth.....Ask a Pagan.

No I will not celebrate something that I don't believe in. You wouldn't celebrate Kwanza so why in the hell would I celebrate something that I fell to be completely ridiculous and stupid, not to mention imaginary. There is no god there was no resurrection. I am not afraid of death, why would I be afraid of something that I won't be aware of. I won't know I'm dead, because I'll be DEAD there is no fear there is no felling, there is nothing. Death is nothing. Your proposition is horrible.

Why would I want an imaginary character into my "heart"? I am not "afraid" of any imaginary character be it god, satan, elves, Zeuss, Odin, Etc. Thank you for the invitation but I would decline it as you would likely decline the same invitation from a Scientologist or whatever you deem mythology.

Isn't it you that's afraid of death?
I am happy to let my body and soul return to the Earth. You are the one that needs to believe that there is something after your flesh dies. Why can't you be happy with just being done? Everyone has their time.
I have no problem with going to church services. I go with my Christian husband whenever we can. However, I work Easter morning. Sorry.

All religions are true, not just yours. The Divine conforms to our expectations. No one faith is all encompassing or universal. Not mine, and not yours. Every faith has their own afterlives. Yours are not the only ones. In the end, I will not be judged by a god I do not have a relationship with. Why do you think fear is an important part of faith? Perhaps you view your god as an angry god who must be appeased. I pity you and your fanatical view.

Why are Christians afraid of spell check? If they accept spell check into their hearts they will probably get more respectful responses to their postings.
Satan is mythology silly christian. The bible is fiction.
Religion was created by people who feared death. I do not fear death.

You're mistaken, friend. I'm not afraid of death, that's not my view of the afterlife, and hell is for Christians. Have a great Resurrection day!

I'm not afraid of "rotting in the dirt," because I won't be experiencing it. I believe that awareness ends at death. Without awareness, there is no suffering. Without suffering, there is nothing to fear.
I tried your religion. I tried it hard, for over half of my life. One day I found that I could no longer force myself to believe something that didn't make any sense to me.
Thank you for the offer, but I must cheerfully decline.
