Hand sanitizer is expensive a small bottle is 1.99 and huge bottle of 70% alcohol is 99 cents so is it ok to use 70% alcohol on my hands?

I would not recommend it. Using it on a regular basis can cause some serious skin problems...the least of the problems would be dry, chapped skin. Prolonged use on the skin can cause defatting which means it removes the fatty acids from your body leading to extreme dryness and contact dermatitis.

Depending how much you use it, you also have to be concerned about your exposure to the fumes since it can lead to poisoning. The symptoms of poisoining include: flushing, headache, dizziness, central nervous system depression, nausea, vomiting, anesthesia, and coma

If you wish to use a 70% alcohol product, please use Isopropyl Alcohol Gel Hand Sanitizer as it would be so much safer. This gel is used specifically for the skin and contains a special emollient to prevent the incidence of drying and dermatitis. It also requires no rinsing.

it incredibly is secure, although analyze have shown that wasing your palms with popular cleansing soap and water have shown to evade extra colds. mutually as the alcohol will kill the micro organism, it may no longer get rid of the virus debris. dry your palms with the paper towl and use that to open the door to flow away. get a flu shot. dont have faith the hype.
