I've been looking around online, and I can't find anything that sounds reliable and sounds as if it will do any good. I can't afford laser scar removal, but I really want to get rid of it!

There is a great product available at drugstores like Walgreens or CVS called Curad Scar Therapy. They work especially well with raised scars. They are basically silicone pads that you wear over the scar for approximately one to two weeks. The pad works by smoothing out the raised tissue and restoring your skin's natural elasticity. They aren't too expensive, around $12 dollars for one box, and they work. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Scars are very hard to get rid of. Try rubbing vitamin E oil into it several times a day. This will help soften the tissue and reduce the appearance of the scar. Most drug stores also sell products like mederma and other scar reducing creams. You can usually find them in 2 locations: near the bandaids and in the skin lotion section. They aren't cheap, and I have no idea how well they work.

i had a scar on my head due to stitches and i bought some vitamin E oil from the chemist. You only need to get a very small bottle. Apply a few drop 2-3 times daily and keep the scar out of direct sunlight as much as possible. This helped me alot and i got this information about my scar from doctor so it is 100% reliable.

happy easter. have a good one
