1) We go by the moon, so it depends when Prophet Muhammad's (P.B.U.H) birthday falls on the sun calendar.
2) His birthdate is NOT confirmed. Only his death date is, which is 12 Rabbi-u-Awwal (sp.?).
3) We DO NOT celebrate his birthday, except some Muslims who believe in it. All I have to say is: the Prophet (P.B.U.H) never asked us to celebrate his birthday and secondly his birthdate isn't confirmed, like just mentioned.
4) Isn't Prophet Jesus (P.B.U.H)'s birthday on this Christmas thing?

There are no records of either birthday.

Christians celebrate Christmas in commemoration of Jesus's birth, but the actual holiday was originally the celebration of "the birth of the sun god", and occurs at the winter solstice.

The day easter is celebrated changes every year. It is always celebrated on the first sunday after the first full moon after the vernal equinox.
Which is why easter is always so close to passover as well.

Actually, we only celebrate Jesus' birthday on Christmas . . . and his resurrection on Easter. The actual dates are not defined precisely. There are some calculations, but no one is sure.

I'm thinking the same is for Muhammed.

Easter does not mark Jesus' birth, but rather His resurrection from the grave, since He had been crucified to death three days prior.

We don't know the actual date of Jesus' birth, but we celebrate it on December 25th every year.

Muhammad came along well after Jesus; so I think that puts the question in the Islamic court so to speak.
