In Italian "caspita" is used either to express wonder, surprise (as in English "good heavens !", "good gracious!") or to express impatience (as in English " for goodness' sake!")
It's not meaning "wow" that's in Italian "oh !".

It means, "Wow!" or "Goodness!" Usually it's just an exclamation used when you're surprised. Hope this helps!
