I like the BIC Acoustech HT-64. I like the Hsu as well, but the HT-64 is also a design by Dr. Poh Ser Hsu as well and they are considerably more efficient. They're great speakers for the money -I know, I own a pair. You really can't beat them for a new pair for under $230 shipped!

I sell Klipsch Reference speakers at Magnolia Home Theater and I will be the first to tell you they are great for movies. Klipsch has dominated the home theater market for surround sound but personally I wouldn't listen to my least favorite record on them. I am not to sure of some of the other vendors, but I am huge fan of KEF audio. I have not listened to any of the other speakers besides the Klipsch speakers you have mentioned. I do have one tip though, if you get some free time you should check out Definitive Technology Pro Stat 1000 speakers. They sell for 199 a piece and have a huge dynamic range. The Pro Stat's have been rated very high by many HIFI magazines.

Hi.The KEF 101 .British loudspeakers can handel all types of music faithfully and with low distortion. This is the one i would have because i have another brand of speaker from Britain which i have been using for23 years and i have not heard anything better to rival my speakers. Definitely get the KEF's you will not be disappointed.
