Why was he dating you for 2 months if there was no chemistry?
Sounds like he is just giving you an excuse. He either found someone else or thinks he can find someone better than you.

No chemistry is usually guy speak for one of two things:
1) you're not putting out and I'm looking for someone that will
2) I just realized we have absolutely nothing in common and should have ended this long ago.
I don't know how little you opened up, but if you were really tight lipped about yourself he may see no common ground. Two months is long enough that you two should have a fairly good idea about the other person.
But I think it's more likely that he would ask questions about you if that's all it was.
Ask him to define "chemistry" in this context and read between the lines of what he says.

When a guy says he doesn't feel chemistry, he doesn't feel chemistry. It means that he's not into you anymore. That's exactly what it means. It's pretty obvious. But don't think that it's because you haven't opened up much to him yet because it's not that. He probably is bored of you and wants to experience what else is out there. And most likely, he wants sex and you haven't given it to him so he's bored. But if you let him, it might just be sex then it's over. So you need to keep him more interested you. Be more flirtatious! :)

The guy is not really into you. He would not mind having sex with you so the conversations and him being nice is just a way for him to keep u close enough to do just that, but that's all he has planned for the two of u.

Test your feelings.
How many minutes have to pass before you start missing him?
Do you have a big smile when he calls you?
Do you notice changes in your heartbeat?
Do you feel comfortable sharing personal information?
Do you feel physical attraction as well as emotional needs?
Can you look into his eyes for more than 15 seconds?

Maybe yes. It's time to move on, guys should not always see your life as an open book, it opens the door to too many questions and doubts.

Maybe he isn't "the one" for you, and you're not "the one" for him. He probably wants to be with someone he feels a really close bond with, whom he just clicks with.. and of course you should too. It sounds like you guys are dating, but you don't really have a strong connection. I think you should break up with him so you'll be available when you meet the right guy for you!

He might be just telling the truth. Might be breaking it off nicely. Most likely he is tired of waiting to get some.
Don't give it up or he will be "interested" all of a sudden.

If a man doesn't feel chemistry for you, he ain't into you, he thinks of you more like a friend than a girlfriend. Just wasn't meant to be.
