Read the description of his return. You wouldn't ask this if you did.

I don't know about the world, but I would NOT believe it. That is not at all what the Word of God says is going to happen. So,
a.) No, I would NOT follow him.
b.) No, I would not question him because I wouldn't need to, he would be a false Christ from the beginning in my eyes
c.) NO WAY! Never would I burn my Bible because some guy said it was false.
Interesting question. I'm curious as to what your answers will be. As for me, my answer is already in the Bible. Matthew 24:24-25 says "For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great miraculous signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God's chosen ones. See, I have warned you." This is quoted by Christ. He himself warns us of this very thing you have brought up. Interesting.

He would have to be the anti-Christ! any man who came to me and said that the Bible was a book of false words would be a lier! The Bible is TRUE! It was given by Christ for man to follow Him and not go to hell. Anyone who does not believe in Jesus, does not know if some false God came to them or if it was Jesus Himself.

If a man appeared and claimed to be christ, he is a false christ. The bible tells us many would claim to be the christ saying "Lo! He is in the desert! Lo! He is here! Lo! He is there!" we were told not to believe them. This alone makes your question silly. When Jesus arrived, the jews were given the EXACT year He would be there, but they didn't pay enough attention to prophecy. They were told how long from certain events it would be, and they didn't listen. This is why Jesus said so many things that seemed like surprise. He was basicly saying "You were told, how can you not know this?".

In the Bible (new testament) it says that if anything, anyone, whether spiritual or physical, came to you and preached something other or that contradicts the Word of God, then he is evil and not of God. So if someone did that, that would definitely be the point where they're stepping over the line so I would not believe him, and wouldnt have anything to do with him. Satan can perform works that would amaze us too, but satan is still nothing compared to God. thanks for having a question for once that doesnt just diss on Christianity. Its nice to know there are types of people like that out there.

There are many who "would" follow him, (REMEMBE JIM JONES?" but a "True Christian" would know that no matter what that person did or said, he is a liar a servant of Satan.
The Bible teaches that when Jesus returns he will come with the host of angels on the clouds and every eye will behold Him.
It also teaches that any one who claims to be the Christ is a liar and (IS) THE ANTI-CHRIST.
The answers to your questions is NO, NO, NO, a thousand times NO!

Your question is deep.
I think as a society we would have a hard time getting away from our self-centeredness and would have a almost impossible time believing such a thing as this.
Even in the time of "Jesus" the followers of "Jesus" questioned Him and in the begining did not fully believed Him. Did He not ask His only closes guys, "who do you say I am"?
There were those who followed with out question from the begining, but if you read, they were related to Him and know who He was.
The anti-christ will come before the return of the Blessed Holy One and will deceive many.
Peace

I would assume he was a false prophet, because the New Testament warns us about those. As someone else mentioned before, Christ's return is not going to be subtle.
