ive always been slim and these past weeks have been so stressful that ive put on some wieght
ive tryed dieting and tried to lose wieght but nothing seems to work
my bf has noticed to and im really worried
help?

Nourish your body thin, instead of starving your body fat. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. DO NOT weight yourself, to begin with. The reason being that you may end up loosing muscle, bone density or both (since they are the major contributors to your weight). Your increase was in body-fat, therefore, try to loose only that! You can measure how much you are loosing by measuring, with a tape, or a string, around your bellybutton, ONCE a week (not more).
Now, as to the secret of loosing the body fat:
reduce drastically ALL simple carbohydrates (sweets, candy, cakes, pastries, pasta, pizza, potatoes, all sugars and MOST importantly ALL SODAS). Substitute them by complex carbohydrates (vegetables, whole grain stuff etc..) and LOTs of good protein (eggs, meat, poultry, FISH, FISH and FISH) whenever you feel hunger.
IF you are faithful to that you will loose at least 2 lbs of FAT per week, and you will notice it in the belly and butt area. But you can not do it without some form of exercise: anything that keeps you moving, with no interruptions for at least one hour every day.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats, take 300-400 calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
5-8servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water a day
5-6 small meals instead of 3 big ones (breakfast is the most important - make sure to get complex carbs like whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruit etc)
4-6 times a week cardio for 30-50min, light weight training, many reps
no junk food, no sodas, no alcohol, no white flour (cakes, cookies, white bread, pasta etc.), nothing high in sugar (ice cream)
