With all the problems about pet food recall and now China denying that they imported to us. I want some good recipes for two small dogs. I've just been feeding them hamburg, rice, peas and carrots. I think they want a change.

I have the same concern. I lost my cat, but the cat hospital couldn't tell me why. I took a can of food to them, and it wasn't on the list.
CHEESE PLEASE:
1/ 2 cup grated cheese
2 Tabespoons plain yogurt
a little oatmeal
2 tablespoons low fat spread

Mash all ingedients together, adding them in the order given, and serve cold. No cooking is neede. Some cats wont like it because it's not meat based; otehrs will want more!

CHICKEN SOAP (I don't know why it's called soap):

Combine 1 chicken lier, 1 giblet, 1 chicken heart, 1 chicken neck, 2 cups water and 1 tablespoon finely chopped parseley

cover and simmer until the gilblet is tender. Chop all the meat for dogs (although cats would like this, too!) removing the bones and mix with kibble; for cats, you might want to grind the meat in a blender.
